Central School

Central School on the south side was opened on October 1, 1914. It too had four rooms and cost $27,937. Miss Ada Irvine was the first principal (starting in 1911 at Junction School) and remained to teach for the next 30 years. She was a marvelous teacher as well as a great humanitarian….By 1921 there were 165 pupils…
